This is the shocking moment a car crashes through barriers at a motorway service station in Thailand.

The incident occurred in Ayutthaya on Sunday, March 23.

Dramatic footage shows a vehicle driving out of a petrol pump when a car suddenly skidded at high speed into the station's exit, just inches away from the filming auto.

The vehicle slammed violently into a concrete barrier before flipping over and coming to a stop.

Debris, including concrete fragments, was scattered across the area. The passengers inside the car screamed in shock as the mishap unfolded right in front of them.

Local media reported that two individuals inside the crashed vehicle were injured. Volunteers gave them first aid before they were taken to the hospital for further treatment.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
