Exclusive: Duo manage to save elk with antlers tightly entangled in barbed wire
Two friends in Oregon, US, filmed as they rescued an elk that had its antlers tightly entangled in a section of barbed wire.
Footage shows one of the men using a hammer to loosen the wire before sliding the animal away from the fence.
"Never in my life did I think I would experience anything like this! It’s hard seeing such a beautiful creature in that kind of condition, but it feels good knowing we gave him another day," said the filmer.
"Better story than any trophy," he added.
