Driver Hits Parked Car and Flips Into Oncoming Traffic
I was working driving a taxi on a normal Saturday night, and around 9:40 pm, the drunk driver in the other vehicle crashed into the parked car launching himself into my vehicle. The police were called and got there within 60 seconds, and the guy was in cuffs within minutes, failed the breathalyzer and was swiftly arrested and taken to the station. I, the driver, suffered a concussion due to the mirror coming in through the driver's side window and hitting me in the head with force. I went to the hospital and couldn’t work for a week. The driver of the other vehicle pleaded guilty and was sentenced on July 30, although I do not know the outcome of this.
