Brazil: Bus Accident Leaves 11 Dead and 17 Injured
Brazil - April 08, 2025 [WARNING: sensitive content/blood images] Eleven people died, including two children, and 17 were hospitalized in a bus accident in southeastern Brazil, authorities reported Tuesday. The driver of the bus, carrying 45 passengers, “lost control” of the vehicle early Tuesday morning near Araguari, in the state of Minas Gerais, firefighters reported on social media. “So far, 11 deaths have been confirmed: ten at the scene of the accident and another victim upon arrival at the hospital,” the Civil Police reported. The driver survived. Another 17 passengers were hospitalized, “some of them in more serious condition,” according to the Fire Department.
