Japan: Fire At Osaka Construction Site
Osaka, Japan - April 09, 2025 A fire broke out at a building under construction in Osaka, Japan, on April 9. Media said police received a report of the fire around noon and fire crews, including a helicopter, were dispatched. The fire was “almost completely extinguished” about 30 minutes later, they said. Citing police, news reports said the fire started in an elevator on the first floor, and sparks caused it to spread to the area where workers were. All workers were evacuated safely.
