Hikers rescued from wine-making mountain region in Spain
Two hikers who were disoriented while walking along the trail of a wine-making region in Spain were rescued.
The nature explorers were lost in Logrono's Sierra de Tolono mountain range, famous for its artisanal winery, before being extracted by helicopter.
Footage shows a Mountain Rescue and Intervention Group chopper descending into the vast fields surrounded by peaks.
The pair, who were both unhurt, were taken onboard and flown to safety.
Sierra de Tolono is a distinguished winery in the Rioja Alavesa region of Spain. It is renowned for producing artisanal wines from high-altitude vineyards.
