Clever gorilla uses stick to knock down banana stuck in overhead net—stuns visitors with ‘physicist-level’ thinking
On April 4th at a zoo in Shandong, China, visitors witnessed a display of remarkable intelligence from a gorilla during a feeding moment.
While attempting to toss a banana to the gorilla, a visitor accidentally lodged it on the protective netting above the enclosure. Instead of giving up, the gorilla quickly picked up a short stick and cleverly tossed it toward the net. After a few precise throws, it managed to knock the banana loose, successfully retrieving its snack.
Spectators were amazed by the gorilla’s problem-solving skills, with one visitor jokingly comparing it to a physicist. “What’s the difference between a gorilla and a human?” the visitor quipped.
