The contrast between the vivid colors of the tulips and the pristine white snow transformed the field into a surreal natural scene. Nature lovers and photographers were captivated by the picturesque view, mesmerized by the unexpected beauty of snow-draped blossoms. Nearly all of Türkiye’s 81 provinces experienced a sharp drop in temperatures, with some regions also seeing snowfall. Meteorological data indicate that since April 7, temperatures have decreased by 4 to 10 degrees Celsius below seasonal norms nationwide. According to meteorological authorities, the cold spell is expected to persist in the western regions until the weekend, while other parts of the country may continue to feel its effects into the early part of next week. Forecasts predict that the lowest temperatures will be minus 2 degrees Celsius in Ankara, 2 degrees Celsius in Istanbul, and 5 degrees Celsius in the western province of İzmir. Authorities have urged residents to remain cautious amid the ongoing cold snap, particularly in areas where icy road conditions may pose risks for drivers and pedestrians.
