Khartoum, Sudan - April 11, 2025 [WARNING: sensitive content/blood images] After the Sudanese army regained control of the capital, Khartoum, horrific atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the areas they once held began to surface. A resident of the Khartoum Bahri district reported strange objects and foul odors coming from inside his home. Upon contacting the relevant authorities, it was discovered that decomposing bodies and human remains had been dumped in the sewage tank beneath his house. Specialized teams arrived at the scene, extracted the bodies from the sewage pipe, and carried out disinfection and sanitation procedures throughout the property. It is worth noting that the RSF had been using civilian homes as detention centers, where they tortured and killed detainees. Many of the bodies were left in these houses across the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.
