Tornado damages homes in Princeton, Indiana

A powerful tornado devastated a neighbourhood in Indiana.

Footage shows the aftermath of the storm with roofs torn off houses, debris scattered across streets and branches from trees on the pavement in Princeton on April 10.

According to the National Weather Service, the extreme weather phenomenon tore through an eight-block stretch of the city.

More than 500 homes were left without electricity, with houses and buildings destroyed.

The twister lasted three minutes, packing maximum wind speeds up to 105 mph. No one was reported hurt.
