A skier triggered an avalanche while navigating Conundrum Creek in Colorado.

Footage shows the adventure seeker stopped before the wet snowslide rolling downhill on April 9.

The area where the avalanche happened was in '5-fingers', named for the way multiple avalanches branch out like the five fingers of a hand.

Colorado Avalanche Info Center said the slide started on a north-east facing slope and no one was reported hurt.

The agency said warm spring weather raised dangers for loose wet slides due to high temperatures and weak overnight freezes.
