As we turned the corner, my dog, Zoe, immediately notices my brother who was looking down at his phone and walking towards us. Zoe is unsure because neither of us humans acknowledge one another. Zoe's pace picks up and her tail starts to wagging -- faster each time I pan the camera back from my brother to Zoe. When we were finally side-by-side, she rushes him, squealing with excitement, as he greets her happily.
This is a video from July 2023 that I found in my camera roll and decided to upload to my dog's TikTok (@zozempic) and other social media accounts on March 31, 2025. The video is of my dog, Zoe, walking with me and attempting to pass my younger brother, David King. David was home for the summer in Cleveland, Ohio from school at USC. Zoe is a Brittany and she was 3 years old in the video.
