NORTH MACEDONIA - KOSOVO BORDER - APRIL 12, 2025: North Macedonia and Kosovo have started a joint border checkpoint system at the Bllace-Hani i Elezit Border Crossing, in order to ease border crossings, reduce waiting times, and improve the efficiency of border controls. A ceremony was held at the Bllace-Hani i Elezit Border Crossing to mark the launch of the joint border checkpoint system between North Macedonia and Kosovo. The event was attended by North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, Kosovan Prime Minister Albin Kurti, government ministers from both countries, and other distinguished guests. Both Prime Ministers delivered speeches highlighting the importance of regional cooperation and the benefits of the joint system. Following the speeches, attendees toured the new checkpoint facilities.
