This is the adorable moment a caring duck groomed its cat friend by pecking at her fur.

Kwek Kwek, the affectionate bird, was seen tending to Ooringe, who was lounging on the floor in a living room in Batangas, the Philippines.

Footage captured by Nina Luceno shows the waterfowl, wearing a facemask on its bottom as a makeshift diaper, gently nibbling at its furry companion.

The relaxed feline appeared to enjoy the preening session, remaining still as the duck continued cleaning her on March 28.

Pet owner Nina said: ‘Kwek Kwek grew up alongside our cats and has always treated them like family, acting as their mother.'

Ducks are naturally social animals and often form close bonds with other creatures in their environment.
