Monkeys help to pull motorcycle up steep hill
This is the amusing moment monkeys helped their owner push his motorcycle up a steep hill.
Two primates were spotted assisting their struggling keeper by hoisting his two-wheeler in Yala, Thailand.
Footage captured by Ruslan Smahae shows the rider accelerating through the muddy off-road terrain while the animals stepped off the pillion and pulled the vehicle using ropes attached to them.
Onlooker Ruslan and her friends can be heard laughing, entertained and amazed by the unexpected teamwork on March 18.
The monkeys are working pets owned by the rider to harvest coconuts. Using animals in the industry has become a sensitive issue in the West after animal rights group PETA raised concerns about monkey welfare.
