VARIOUS OF DEMOLISHED PARTS OF BUILDINGGAZA, PALESTINE - APR. 13, 2025: Israeli forces targeted Dahyan School in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City, where displaced Palestinians had taken shelter. Residents inspected the heavily damaged building after the attack. “We left the building without taking anything,” said Abu Mohammed Abu Ghaz, one of the shelter’s residents. “We are human beings; we want to be treated with dignity.” More than 50,900 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
