BERLIN, GERMANY - APRIL 12, 2025: Hundreds of Palestine supporters gathered in the German capital, Berlin's central Neptunbrunnen Square on Saturday, April 12, to protest Israel’s ongoing attacks on the Gaza Strip and West Bank. The protest began with the recitation of the Palestinian national anthem. The protestors carried Palestinian flags as well as banners that read "Freedom for Palestine," "Stop the Aggression Against the West Bank," "Stop the Aggression Against Jenin," and "One Genocide Does Not Justify Another." Participants also carried a placard reading "Your Time Has Run Out, Nazinyahu," featuring a picture of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The protestors chanted slogans against Israel and the German government for providing arms to Israel. The protest, held under heavy security measures, ended without incident. The Israeli army renewed a deadly assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January. More than 50,900 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in Gaza in Israeli genocide since October 2023. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
