BOXES OF MASKS AND RUBBLE ON GROUND IN TARGETED BUILDINGGAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - APRIL 13, 2025: The Israeli army targeted the municipal building in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, on Sunday, April 13, resulting in multiple casualties. Local residents and rescue teams launched search and rescue efforts in the rubble of the destroyed building following the strike. The attack comes amid Israel’s ongoing military campaign in Gaza, which began in October 2023 and has caused widespread devastation across the enclave. More than 50,900 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
