A bouncy castle was swept away from a park, dragging locals across a road as they battled to catch the inflatable.

The playground toy broke free from safety ropes when a sudden storm blew in Henan, China on April 5.

Footage shows the massive blue and pink rubber slide decorated with cartoon tumbling into the middle of traffic.

Motorists and pedestrians rushed to stop it, grabbing it on the back but it was too heavy and the wind was too strong.

The men were pulled along until the bouncy castle finally halted.

No one was hurt as there were no children playing on the slide when the storm hit.

It was removed from the intersection soon after.
