A driver was stopped at a checkpoint - only for police to discover a flock of geese perched on the back sea of his car.

The motorist's sedan was pulled over and when the windows were rolled down, they saw the birds crammed behind the driver, appearing to have been hitching a ride in Phitsanulok, Thailand.

Footage shows the police taking a video of the feathered animals inside the vehicle.

The birds filled the car with loud honking as they shifted around the right space on December 31.

Onlooker Tanachot Meeboon said: 'The driver appeared drunk. When he stopped at the checkpoint, the geese were found.'
