Dramatic fall as kiteloop snaps in mid-flight
A kiteloop rider is sent hurtling into the ocean as a cord snaps in mid air.
This footage, taken off the coast of The Grenadines, shows the moment the cord attaching the rider to his kite suddenly snaps in flight. The rider then falls a full 20 metres before hitting the ocean with a sickening impact.
Fortunately the rider escaped with only minor injuries, returning to the waters within a week for some more kiteloop action.
