PALESTINIAN KIDS SITTING AND EATING (TWO SHOTS)GAZA, PALESTINE - APRIL 15: Hot meals were distributed to displaced Gazans in Nuseirat Refugee Camp, on Tuesday, April 15, as Israeli attacks and blockade worsen the humanitarian crisis. Amid ongoing Israeli airstrikes and a continued blockade on aid since March 2, the humanitarian crisis in the besieged Gaza Strip has further intensified particularly in the central region. In the Nuseirat Refugee Camp, Palestinian residents struggling with both the war and dire living conditions gathered to receive hot meals distributed by humanitarian organizations. The severe shortage of food supplies led to overcrowding at the distribution site, highlighting the urgent need for uninterrupted aid access into the enclave. At least 51,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
