Brave medic yanks snake out of ambulance's muffler
A brave medic yanked a snake out of an ambulance's muffler.
Footage shows the first aid responder pulling the tail of the Oriental Rat Snake from the back of the vehicle on the roadside in Chumphon, Thailand, on March 23.
The medic can be seen forcefully tugging the reptile, attempting to drag it toward the bushes.
However, the serpent wriggled, trying to break free, prompting the worker to use a stick to safely place the animal in the grass, away from the motorway.
No one was reportedly injured during the encounter.
The oriental rat snake is a non-venomous reptile that can grow up to two metres (6.6 feet) in length.
