Created by U.S.-based design firm StudioKCA in collaboration with the Hawaii Wildlife Fund, the massive installation was constructed using plastic waste collected from Hawaiian beaches. Set against the backdrop of London’s iconic financial district skyscrapers, the sculpture serves as a striking visual reminder of the devastating impact of plastic on marine life. Authorities and organizers said the project aims to raise public awareness about sustainability and the urgent need to reduce ocean-bound plastic waste.
