Azerbaijan: One person died in an accident related to severe weather conditions
Azerbaijan - April 16, 2025 Flood swept away excavator in Agsu district of Azerbaijan. This was reported by the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Azerbaijan (AAYDA). It is noted that as a result of the incident that occurred in the village of Kalva of the district, three more people were injured. According to the agency, the deceased and injured were employees of a contracting company participating in the construction project of the Muganli-Ismayilli-Gabala road. According to local residents, the workers took refuge in the excavator to protect themselves from the wind in severe weather conditions. The ensuing flood washed away the excavator.
