United States - April 10, 2025 California Coast – A U.S. Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet pilot took part in an aerial refuel exercise on April 10, 2025. The pilot is assigned to Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1). The exercise was part of the Weapons and Tactics Instructor course 2-25. The aerial refueling took place off the coast of California. WTI is a seven-week training event hosted by MAWTS-1. The course focuses on integrating the six functions of Marine aviation. It supports operations of the Marine Air Ground Task Force. The training also includes cooperation with Joint and Coalition Forces.
