Madrid, Spain - April 10, 2025 [Note: no sound] Police have dismantled a drug-selling apartment in the Centro district of the Spanish capital, where illegal substances were hidden in toys and candy packaging. National and Municipal Police officers discovered the apartment was being used to sell drugs. The substances were concealed in plush toys, candy wrappers, pens, electrical outlets, and food containers. On April 10, officers entered and searched the residence. They found cocaine, ketamine, mephedrone, GHB, methamphetamine, and sildenafil. The search also led to the seizure of a safe, two scales, a notebook with criminal records, cutting agents, and about 2,000 euros in cash. Police also located containers used to hide the drugs, including juice bottles, toys, and power sockets. A man was arrested as the suspected person responsible for a crime against public health.
