Emirates A380 embroiled in landing fiasco due to super strong winds of Storm Kathleen
Not even Ethan Hunt could ace the impossible mission of landing the Emirates A380 during the bothersome Storm Kathleen.
"Storm Kathleen arrived in Scotland, and I knew that plane landings would be troublesome with 60+ mph winds," the filmer, Neil, commented. "I headed down to watch the airplanes, specifically the A380 from Dubai to Glasgow.
"After the first go-around, we knew it would struggle with the second attempt before being diverted to London Gatwick Airport."
The way the airliner takes off without testing the air too much shows that the storm in question was no joke.
