Popartkids Studio is redefining artistic exploration with its 6-week sensory art playgroup designed for young learners. In a captivating video, a 2-year-old student immerses themselves in the vibrant world of creativity, choosing to run their fingers through paint at the studio’s action art station.

This is a video of one of our 2 year old students who is enrolled in a 6 week sensory art playgroup at our studio.. each week we develop 7 different themed and multi-sensory stations for children to explore at their own pace. One of these stations is our action art station where children can choose to create a mark on their canvas by laying on our sensory swing. Sometimes children choose a squirt bottle to squirt paint over the canvas, creating splatter marks like a Jackson pollock, while other times children choose to run their fingers through the paint as this child is choosing to do. There is no right or wrong way to create art in our studio, we are giving our artists the materials and tools to explore and then they independently decide how to interact with the stations.
