BURNED TENTS AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMSGAZA, PALESTINE - APR. 21, 2025: Israeli airstrike on Monday, Apr. 21, targeted tents sheltering displaced Palestinians on Al-Wehda Street in Gaza, killing three and injuring ten others. Residents scrambled to extinguish fire caused by the attack, which struck the makeshift shelters. More than 51,200 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023, most of them women and children. In November 2024, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
