A Delta Air Lines flight bound for Atlanta caught fire at Orlando International Airport on April 21, 2025. Captured by Dylan Wallace and posted to X, the video shows flames erupting near the aircraft’s tailpipe, prompting an emergency evacuation.

The flight, identified as Delta Flight 1213, was preparing for departure with 200 passengers, 10 flight attendants, and 2 pilots on board. According to ClickOrlando, no injuries were reported during the incident.

Eyewitness Dylan Wallace, who filmed the video, said: “I was at the airport to board a different flight when I saw flames near the Delta aircraft. It was a tense moment.”

The airline has not yet confirmed the cause of the fire, though early reports suggest it may have originated from the auxiliary power unit (APU). The incident adds to Delta’s history of safety challenges, echoing past events like the 2015 Flight 159 hailstorm over China that caused major damage to the aircraft.

Authorities are investigating the incident, and Delta says all passengers were safely evacuated.
