US Vice President JD Vance and his family were greeted by folk dancers during their visit to India.

The official, accompanied by his wife Usha and their three children, visited the historic Amer Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Tuesday, April 22.

They received a traditional Rajasthani welcome at the fort, including a ceremonial greeting with a decorated jumbo, reflecting the region's rich cultural heritage.

Vance was warmly welcomed by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, who also held a courtesy meeting with the Vice President at the venue.

Footage shows the family enjoying the lively performance prepared especially for them.

Vance had arrived in Jaipur late Monday evening after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. His four-day trip includes stops in Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra, with a series of diplomatic and cultural engagements planned across the cities.

The Vice President said: 'It was an honor to see Prime Minister Modi this evening. He's a great leader and he was incredibly kind to my family.

'I look forward to working under President Trump's leadership to strengthen our friendship and cooperation with the people of India!'

The Vance family is scheduled to depart for the US early Thursday morning.
