My big crash in the Peak District UK
While flying down a trail in the Peak District at 20mph I clipped a rock and lost the front end, landing head first. My Giro Xar helmet was destroyed but did it's job and I managed to finish the ride, despite mild concussion, whiplash and gravel rash. Perhaps I should have listened and bailed but I finished the ride without incident and got the all clear from the hospital after.
