Hero driver breaks up shocking road rage attack on Australia's Gold Coast
A hero driver jumped out of his car and rushed to break up a shocking road rage attack in Australia.
The Good Samaritan passed by the commotion and dashed to intervene in Coomera along the Gold Coast on April 20.
Footage shows the muscular resident grabbing a furious motorist who was throwing his fist into the window of a red Mazda.
He was significantly bigger than the attacker in a white shirt and headlocked him from behind.
While only trying to separate them from the violent altercation, the hotheaded motorist punched him, causing his cap to drop.
The girls then surrounded him as he was caught in a brawl, and two more passengers joined to ask him to leave.
Astonished onlooker Tim Ward said: 'I accidentally passed by. It looks like the big guy ran over to try and stop the fight, but the other guy started attacking him.
'This was my first time back in Australia for a while. I guess this is how you know you're back in Australia.'
The driver who was being attacked initially crawled out of his window during the scuffle, but the two parties eventually agreed to leave in opposite directions.
