MUSLIMS AFTER PRAYERS GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - MARCH 30, 2025: Amid the devastation of ongoing conflict, Muslims in Gaza gathered at the ruins of destroyed mosques on Sunday, March 30, to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers, marking the end of Ramadan with resilience and faith. Footage shows Palestinians that gathered at the heavily damaged Great Mosque of Gaza in the Gaza Strip. Many prayed among the rubble, while others stood outside, unable to enter due to heavy structural damage. The mosque, bearing the scars of repeated airstrikes, stood as a symbol of resilience as worshippers filled its partially destroyed halls to mark the Islamic holiday. The Israeli army launched a surprise aerial campaign on Gaza on March 18, killing more than 920 victims, injuring over 2,000, and shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement. More than 50,200 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and over 114,000 injured in a brutal Israeli military onslaught on Gaza since October 2023. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
