A truck tyre rolled into a shop following a motorcycle crash at an intersection in Thailand.

CCTV footage shows two motorbikes crashing into each other in front of an auto shop in Chonburi on April 21.

As the riders lay at the scene to wait for an ambulance, the rubber wheel then detached from a passing pickup truck and flew into a nearby store. It struck a counter and a laptop, shocking the cashier Raenu Wachirakitmongkol, 54.

Shop owner Thanatchaporn Kaewsuriya, 60, said: 'My husband rode his motorcycle onto the highway for a quick errand. He turned to check for traffic behind him, and that's when another motorcycle driving the wrong way slammed into him.

'I saw both of them go down and get hurt before people nearby rushed over to help.'

Both drivers were taken to the Ban Bueng Hospital for treatment.

The owner of the pickup truck has agreed to pay for the damage to the shop.
