A boyfriend sweetly made his partner choose between two notes in this heartwarming marriage proposal.

Gerome Venancio, 29, wrote 'will you marry me' in bold letters on the pieces of paper and asked Claudine Anne Reyes, 29, to choose one during the couple's dinner date.

Footage shows Gerome's cards and handing them to Claudine so she could pick one.

Claudine pulled one and read the words before asking her lover of 11 years if he was serious.

She took the other and the ring was revealed, causing Claudine to burst into tears from the surprise at the restaurant in Nueva Ecija, the Philippines.

Gerome asked if she would marry him, and the girlfriend gladly said yes before reaching her hand over the table on August 21.

He said: 'That was my marriage proposal to my longtime girlfriend.'

The decade-long partners tied the knot on April 12.
