Los Angeles, United States - April 22, 2025 04/22/2025 07:18 pm (GMT-0700) PALMDALE, Calif. – On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at approximately 7:18 p.m. in Palmdale, emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Sheriff's Department rushed to a report of a one-month-old infant who had stopped breathing at the intersection of 31st Street East and Avenue Q-4. Upon arrival, first responders found the infant breathing again, but as a precaution, the fire department requested a helicopter to transport the child to a medical facility equipped for further care. An ambulance, escorted by law enforcement for safety, took the infant to the sheriff's station, where a helicopter was waiting. The aircraft then airlifted the child to Children's Hospital Los Angeles for immediate medical attention. At this time, the cause of the medical emergency remains unknown.
