Our family is relocating across the country from MA to NC, and needed to find temporary housing in the interim, so we decided to rent a condo on Carolina Beach. When we realized that our son Brooks’ 4th birthday would fall within that timeframe (and that we’d be thousands of miles from home and family) we decided to surprise him and make his birthday wish of “dinos at the beach” come to life!

When Brooks arrived at the beach, he was so excited to see a “real life T-Rex,” aka dad in an inflatable costume, waiting for him. His dad then gave him the gift of his own T-Rex costume! Brooks put it on and asked his dad if they could “roar in the ocean together.”

Needless to say, we not only celebrated a birthday we’ll always remember, but we also got to unlock a core memory we won’t ever forget!
