..WASHINGTON, USA - APR. 24, 2025: Members of the Turkish-American community gathered outside the Turkish ambassador's residence in Washington on Thursday (Apr. 24) to protest against Armenian claims on 1915 events. Organized by the Turkish American Steering Committee (TASC) and other civil society groups, demonstrators carried Turkish flags and photos of diplomats killed by the Armenian ASALA group, holding a moment of silence in their memory. Participants voiced opposition to Armenian claims regarding the events of 1915, asserting they misrepresent historical facts. The protest drew support from Azerbaijani, Ahıska Turk, and other diaspora communities across the U.S. A small group of Armenian demonstrators also marched past the Turkish and Azerbaijani embassies later in the day.
