Yale University students held a protest in support of Palestine.

Footage shows the undergraduates demonstrating in solidarity with Palestinians amidst the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The protesters gathered to condemn the visit of Israel's National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, who had been invited to speak at an event near the campus on April 23.

Israel broke its ceasefire with Gaza, which had been in place since January, launching surprise airstrikes early Tuesday.

Reports say 404 people have been killed, with more than 560 injured.

Israel has blitzed the Gaza Strip in retaliation for a terror attack by the governing party Hamas on a Jewish music festival on October 7, 2023.

However, the situation, which Israel claims is self-defence, has drawn criticism from around the world.
