Tourist reacts furiously to 'pet' cockroach being flicked from his head
A tourist asked a passerby to pet his cockroach but she flicked it off his head - leaving him furious.
The Russian holidaymkaer had stopped in the middle of a pedestrianised street with the roach perched on his head in Phuket, Thailand.
However, a concerned onlooker mistook it for a pest. She thought he needed help with removing the bug, so she swished it off with a finger.
Footage shows the manchild foreigner stomping his feet and shouting, scaring her off.
The bizarre visitor removed his head cover and knelt on the ground, gently letting the insect crawl back into his palm.
Onlooker Naeya Umar said: 'The Russian foreigner treated the cockroach like it was his pet. It was strange, the girl was just trying to help him.'
The holidaymaker checked on the bug and left the area holding it carefully in his hand on April 23.
German cockroaches are considered pests. They are one of the most common and widespread species of cockroaches found in homes, restaurants, and other buildings.
