JERUSALEM - APRIL 25, 2025: A group of Israeli protesters gathered in Jerusalem on Friday, April 25, to denounce the government’s ongoing military campaign in Gaza following the collapse of a ceasefire. The demonstrators, holding signs with slogans such as "We are starving Gaza," "Resist genocide," "Palestinian lives matter," and "Ceasefire now," voiced their opposition to the Israeli government's renewed assault on the Gaza Strip. Israeli police intervened in the protest and detained three demonstrators. The Israeli army resumed its assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering a Jan. 19 ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement. Israel has killed over 51,400 Palestinians in the enclave since October 2023, most of them women and children. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
