Georgia: Zurab Tsereteli memorial service in Tbilisi

Academician of the Academy of Arts of the USSR. Hero of Socialist Labor. People's Artist of the USSR and the Russian Federation. Laureate of the Lenin Prize and two State Prizes of the USSR. Knight of the Soviet Order of Lenin, the Georgian Order of Honor, the French Order of the Legion of Honor, and a full knight of the Russian Order of Merit for the Fatherland, as well as numerous state awards from France, the USA, Azerbaijan, Spain, Chile, Kazakhstan, and Bulgaria. The author of more than 5,000 works of painting, graphics, sculpture, as well as monumental and decorative art. These include frescoes, mosaics, and panels. His works decorate Tbilisi, Moscow, Yalta, Sochi, New York, New Jersey, Seville, London, Paris, Puerto Rico, and other cities around the world.
