Footage shows an intense downpour flooding streets in Lawton on Saturday, April 26.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person had died following the freak weather that struck the region, with officials urging residents to stay indoors as severe storms continued.
Police said: 'Emergency responders reported witnessing a vehicle drive into standing water earlier today. Responders were not able to safely get to the submerged vehicle.'
The identity of the victim has not been released.
City officials reported that the water began to recede in some areas on Sunday afternoon.
