US, Phoenix: Phoenix Interstate 10 Fatal Vehicle Collision
Phoenix, United States - April 27, 2025 04/27/2025 01:20 am (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz. – Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers (AZDPS) responded to reports of a single vehicle collision on westbound I-10 near 43rd Avenue. DPS arrived to find the vehicle off to the right at the end of the westbound I-10/43rd Avenue on-ramp. The driver of the vehicle was unresponsive and not breathing. DPS administered compressions until Phoenix Fire Department crews arrived on the scene. Phoenix Fire arrived moments later and pronounced the unidentified driver deceased at the scene. DPS closed the on-ramp for westbound I-10 at 43rd Avenue while troopers investigate the collision. The ramp closure is expected to remain in place for multiple hours. The incident did not initially appear to affect traffic on the westbound I-10.
