On April 25, in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, a woman descended from the sky in a paraglider, landing slowly on the busy Chaoyang Bridge amid flowing traffic, forcing vehicles to swerve urgently to avoid her. Video footage shows the woman waving at cars from the air, seemingly asking drivers to make way.

The person who filmed the video said the incident occurred around 2:30 PM and was recorded from a car behind the scene. Below the Chaoyang Bridge is the Gan River, making the woman's actions extremely dangerous. Fortunately, she managed to grab a guardrail and come to a stop, appearing unharmed.

The Nanchang Public Security Bureau’s Traffic Management Department confirmed the incident, noting that no accident occurred and the woman was uninjured. Traffic on Chaoyang Bridge quickly returned to normal later that afternoon.

On April 27, a staff member from the Jiangxi Provincial Aviation Sports Management Center stated that an investigation revealed the paraglider belonged to a tourism company, but the flight had not been reported to authorities as required. The woman had taken off on her own while the company's supervisor was momentarily away, violating regulations. The incident is still under further investigation.
