Police raid illegal beauty clinic in Pattaya for unlicensed botox and filler injections
Police raided a beauty clinic accused of offering unauthorised Botox and filler injections in Thailand.
Authorities stormed the One Be High Clinic in 'Sin City' Pattaya following reports from disgruntled customers that it was operating illegally.
The Provincial Police Region 2 and Chonburi Public Health Office raided the four-storey facility on April 22 and allegedly found no proper medical permit or licensed doctor on site.
The staff were reportedly offering cosmetic services - including injectable fillers, Botox, and vitamin skin treatments - despite lacking medical training.
Police detained receptionist Natthakarn Butsranoi, 35, and Ranrorn, 37, and her assistant Phenpitcha Patmarit, 37, who were found administering fillers to a customer.
Police Major General Thirachai Chamnanmo, a commander of the Crime Suppression Division, said: 'While inspecting the clinic, we found Ms. Nattakan Butsaranoi, 35, promoting the clinic's services, while Ms. Ranron, 37, was injecting filler into a customer with Ms. Penpicha Patmarit, 37, assisting her.
'On the second floor, there was a storage room filled with filler, Botox, syringes, and other medical equipment, while the third floor was used as a facial massage room.'
All clinic employees were detained for further questioning at the Pattaya City Police Station.
Senior specialist pharmacist Jirasan Meerattanawat, who also joined the raid, said: ‘The provincial public health office received a complaint that this clinic was not up to standard and employed personnel without licences to provide medical services. Therefore, we co-ordinated with Investigation Division officers from Provincial Police Region 2 to investigate.
‘The clinic had many offences, including operating without a licence, illegally running a health establishment, and performing medical services without permission.'
