A mother received a touching surprise when she returned home for lunch break - only to find her children secretly organised a birthday party for her.

Sandra Tuto, 51, had no idea when she stepped through the door that her children cooked her food and decorated their home with balloons and banners.

Footage shows Sandra opening the entrance to their home and being welcomed with a confetti popper.

There was a table on the living room with her favourite dishes like spring rolls, pizza, and watermelon.

Her eldest son held a cake with a lit candle while her children sang her a song,

Son Norman said: 'My mum deserved the best party. She is very hardworking so we wanted to make her special day happy.'

The party was held on April 20 in Sandra and her six kids' home in Bulacan, the Philippines.
