United States - April 27, 2025 On April 17, SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying nearly two dozen Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit. The launch took place at 10:09 p.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission aimed to deploy 23 Starlink satellites, including 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities. These satellites will join the growing Starlink constellation, which provides high-speed, low-latency internet service globally. The first-stage booster, on its 20th flight, successfully landed on the "Just Read the Instructions" droneship located in the Atlantic Ocean shortly after the launch. This mission follows a previous SpaceX launch on April 13, where 28 V2 Starlink mini satellites were sent into orbit. That mission marked the 475th launch of a Falcon 9 rocket.
